In June, we signed a contract for 75 IVECO Stralis tractor units (with the option to expand our fleet with 40 more vehicles by the end of the year). It is the second order for IVECO units placed this year—in March, we received keys to 50 new Stralis units. In this way, in 2017, the LINK fleet—under its own brand name—will expand to include a total of at least 125 new Stralis tractor units. The new cars traveling on European roads will bear LINK’s distinctive colors—yellow and black.

IVECO has been our partner for more than ten years now, since the first test units of Stralis were delivered to LINK. Since then, great technological progress has occurred—the tractors that we have ordered are characterized by their 11-liter power units with a power of 460 km and a maximum torque of 2,125 Nm. What is more, they employ the HI-SCR technology that allows them to comply with the Euro 6 standard exclusively by means of a selective catalytic reduction system with the use of an AdBlue solution, which ensures only a minimal impact on the environment.

The new tractor units offer also a number of solutions enhancing the drivers’ comfort, as the cabins will be equipped with air conditioning, tinted glass, pneumatic driver and passenger seats, refrigerators, two comfortable recliners, and a large fold-out table.
