The last month abounded in many events in LINK- we present the most important ones below:

IVECO tractors powered with LNG test.

We have started 3-week IVECO Stralis Natural Power 460 LOW TRACTOR test on designated international routes. This is a great occassion to compare parameters in relation to diesel vehicles. The tractor is equipped with advanced telematics tools, which will be analysed when the tests are completed.

With a 460 hp gas drive and a torque of 2,000 Nm, the car has the same dynamics as vehicles with conventional powertrain.

Paweł Moder, General Director and Member of the Management Board of LINK Sp. z o.o. summed up the beginning of the tests:

„The care for the environment and the environment is an integral part of LINK’s operations. Our company constantly checks the latest possibilities and technologies appearing in the segment of heavy-duty vehicles. The average age of our fleet is only 1.5 years, which means that LINK’s fleet consists exclusively of diesel tractors that meet the Euro 6 standard, whose emissions are much lower than those of previous truck models. However, we are constantly exploring the latest technological solutions that can help reduce the environmental impact of road transport.”


Merger of Companies in Poland.

In October Link Sp. z o.o. and Waberer’s Polska Sp. z o.o. merged. – both entities will operate under the common name of Link Sp. z o.o.

The merger of the two companies will enable us to achieve synergy effects and build optimal, financially and organisationally attractive transport and logistics solutions for our customers, as well as to explore and acquire customers in new markets and areas.

The LINK car fleet is growing!

In October we completed this year’s acceptance of DAF XF 480 FT 4X2 tractors equipped with MX-13 engine with a capacity of 12.9 L generating 483 hp and 2500 Nm of torque. This is a further expansion of the fleet (102 DAF tractors in total) this year. Due to the dynamic growth of the company, LINK is constantly expanding its fleet and the average age of LINK tractors is only 1.5 years. 

DAF tractors have many features for drivers (e.g. Super Space Cab with sleeping compartment, refrigerator and automatic air conditioning and many of the most modern safety solutions). All vehicles meet the EURO 6 standard, guaranteeing the lowest possible environmental impact of the tractor. 

In addition, we are pleased to announce that in connection with the beginning of the new academic year (01.10.2018), the innovative European-scale course of study „Coordinator of Autonomous Vehicles” at the Social Academy of Sciences, of which LINK is a patron both titular and substantive.
