Autonomous transport – commencement of cooperation between LINK and the University of Social Sciences

We would like to announce that we have become the Contents Partner of the innovative specialization “Autonomous Vehicles Coordinator”, which is a part of the Logistics program of the undergraduate studies at the University of Social Sciences. The official signing of the agreement between the Project Partners: LINK Sp z o.o., Volvo Trucks and the University of Social Sciences took place on 13 April 2018 during the AgileCommerce Scientific Conference in Spała and the innovative educational program at the University of Social Sciences will launch during the 2018/2019 academic year.

Autonomous vehicles and the associated technology and management processes are the future of the transport industry. Therefore, in order to meet the latest trends and research of the TSL industry we have decided to support the innovative educational program concerning autonomous vehicles at the University.

At LINK we have always banked on the development of technologies and modern operational solutions. Innovation is deeply rooted in the DNA of LINK and that is why we have decided to become the Contents Partner of the project. The concept of autonomous vehicles, which in the future will serve as a supplement to human capabilities and allow further development of the transport sector, is one of our areas of interest.

LINK will be directly involved in the didactic process. We have planned a wide variety of specialized courses associated with the selected major during the second and subsequent years of studies, conducted in part by the specialists from LINK, as well as an internship program at LINK, which will both constitute a part of the didactic process of the program.
The program will allow to educate future specialists within the area of autonomous transport and ensure that the students gain the highest professional expertise supported by the experience of LINK International Transport.
